For over a decade, Asoka Restaurant and Bar has been the gem of Kloof Street in Cape Town. The restaurant tantalises patrons with nights of culinary and rhythmic indulgence. Asoka thrives on the journey of a night – from food to cocktails to late nights under the skylight by the Olive tree. 

 

The brief was to update the Asoka identity to reflect the magical and intriguing story it tells. The interior space is rich with layers and textures and is of premium quality. The identity needed to reflect this. An icon was created as a graphic interpretation of the Olive tree that is found in the heart of the restaurant. The tree is made up of intricate intertwined branches, leaves and birds. These branches hold boundless legendary stories and magic.
