I decide to no longer fight the current, but to surrender to the flow. Letting go of the fear, and finding calmness in the water that surrounds me. Releasing the things that I cannot control. In mourning the loss of my hair, I set free all my preconceived perceptions of womanhood and what makes me who I am. I let it all go, I am my true self, and I am present.
