5. Embrace
Self isolating in a difficult time when support is needed most is not easy. But I know I am not alone in this as there are so many others in this challenging time. My heart aches to feel the warm presence of a friend, to sit and laugh in the sunshine over a glass of wine like we used to. I long to feel the embrace of my mother, just to see her smile - not through a computer screen. But even though I cannot see my friends and family, I feel your presence and support, and it surrounds me like a hug. I am so overwhelmed by your kindness, generosity and love, it brings me to tears. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you. I am forever grateful.
