These illustrations formed part of a brief to Room 13 Design. They were required to design an elaborate invitation book for a tropical getaway for the Gumede family to celebrate a family member's 40th birthday. We were approached to create illustrations for this invitation book. Each hand-painted illustration captures stories of the family's travels - through Seychelles, Madagascar and Mozambique. The images are colourful and tropical - rich in flowers, leaves, animals and sea shells. From colourful dense forests to warm sunny beaches and romantic evening lights over the ocean, these illustrations capture the lively essence of their journey.
